
Ampere Electric scooters have become more affordable in Gujarat state, After recently announced EV policy 2021 aimed to make battery powered vehicles more popular among buyers. This policy has helped buyers to get Ampere E Scooters below Rs. 50000.00. Two popular models from Ampere are now below Rs. 50000.00.

Two models Magnus and Zeal are now affordable and are below Rs. 50000.00 in Gujarat state. Magnus earlier before EV policy 2021 was Rs. 74990.00, buyers will jow have to pay Rs.47990.00. Similarly Zeal was Rs. 68990.00 before policy, revised priced is Rs. 41990.00(all prices are Ex-showroom). Ampere electric’s Roy Kurian further commented on cost benefit vis-a-vis petrol models. “This is an extraordinary move by the government to make our well build electric scooters more affordable and hence within easy access for a common man,” he said. It will help commuters to optimize their expenses associated to petrol earlier. This will also help logistics players in B2B segment to reduce their cost and increase revenues.
Earlier the cost of buying Electric vehicles had been deterrent for many in India. Some state government’s along with center providing more benefits for buyers to buy Electric vehicles. States like Gujarat, Delhi and Telangana have rolled out EV policies aimed to making such vehicles cheaper and affordable. In the particular instance of Gujarat state EV vision, The state has announced upto Rs.1.5lakh subsidy for passenger vehicles and Rs.20000.00 for two wheelers.
CM Vijay Rupani elaborated that plans of making Gujarat hub of manufacturing electric vehicles and its components while adding 250 charging stations here. Even petrol pumps are given approvals to establish charging stations.
